    Virginia Creeper ’Murorum’  (Parthenocissus quinquefolia ’Murorum’ )

    A popular climber, vigorous, can attach firmly to a wall thanks to special roots.

    It tolerates pollution, therefore is ideally suited to urban, even dry conditions. A creeper which thanks to its roots and leaves tails climbs walls, fences, pergolas well. It grows up to 15 m, annual growth is 1-2 m. Inconspicuous flowers, complex, five-fingered, dark, leaves that are red in autumn. There are no specific requirements for soil and position. Frostproof.

    Laburnum anagyroides

    It is the most spectacular ornamental plants in Europe due to the long, drooping  golden yellow flowers that appear in spring (April-June) and give the plant look as if dripping with gold (hence its name). The leaves are generally trifoliate and oval, resembling clover.

    Their fruits are in the form of seed pods and often mistaken for peapods.

    Reaches a height from 3 m to 5 m and a width of about 2 m.

    It is quite resistant to frost.

    Grows best on fresh, fertile, not too dry soil with a high content of calcium. Blooms abundantly in sunny positions.

    Ideal for home gardens or parks,  as a shrub, on pergolas, arches or borders.

    Variegated Porcelain Berry Vine ’Elegans’ (Ampelopsis glandulosa)

     

    Commonly called porcelain vine, is a vigorous, woody, deciduous climbing vine which is somewhat similar in habit to wild grape vines and will typically grow to a height of 4-6m.
    Elegans has three-lobed leaves that are variegated with white. The leaves are white-shiny underneath with a margin while young leaves show a pinkish tinge in the spring. 
    Greenish flowers appear in the leaf axils in July. The berry then grows pale lilac-blue fruits which mature to brighter and deeper shades of amethyst to porcelain blue.
    Grow in any moist but well-drained, fertile soil. Best planted against a warm, sheltered, partially shaded wall.
    This plant is completely hardy.
    Is used as an ornamental plant in gardens.
    Suitable for: fences, arbors, walls, trellises, porches or other structures. May also be grown without support along the ground to cover old stumps or rock piles. 
    Porcelain berry is still widely cultivated despite knowledge of its invasiveness.
    Origin of Japan, China and Russia.

    Is a species of flowering plant native to eastern Asia. This large ornamental grass is tough & fast growing to 0.8–2 m forming dense clumps from an underground rhizome. Zebra grass has one of the most interesting foliage colours with dark green and yellow horizontal bands on the wide leaves. Prefers full sun and moderately fertile, moist, well-drained soils. Can be used as accent plant, to create screens or edges.

    An ornamental climber with light green leaves, bright yellow in autumn. Vigurously growing and expansive! A strong climber twisting around supports, growing up to 10 m. An annually growth of 2-3 meters. It has nice green leaves that in autumn turn yellow, so they light up the garden. It has small, white, melliferous flowers.

    There are no specific requirements for soil and position, and it is also fully frostproof. It tolerates urban pollution. This variation can be a pollinator for its female varieties.

    As the plant is strong, it grows vigurously and requires a lot of space. Smaller plants should not be planted nearby.     A vigorous, undemanding climber! Very similar to Murorum vine.

    The annual growth of 1-2 m. The ideal plant for covering ruins. A high climber, vigorous, growing to approx. 6 metres. Grows approx. 2 meter per year. Virginia Creeper is perfect for pergolas, fences, gazebos, porches, as a groundcover, etc. Looks like quinquefolia Murorum, but is devoid of suckers or has them underdeveloped. The stems twist around supports with tendrils and reach a lower height than the previous species.

    It likes both sunny and shaded spots. 
    It is undemanding when it comes to soil, ordinary garden soil is sufficient.

    Grows from 80cm to 1.30 m in height  and is good frost resistant.

    Plant in fertile, moist, well-drained soil in an open sunny position by planting 5-6 pieces per square meter.

    Pruning by removing old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross.

    It tolerates pruning well.

    We recommend to cover base of the plant for the winter.

    Can be used for beds and borders, cut flower or garden.

    A clockwise-twisting creeper, an interesting decoration with its light green leaves and orange and red fruit that persists on the bare branches the entire winter! From October to December it has very eye-catching yellow and red fruit - inedible.

Its polinator may be a male variaty, for example Hercules.     Chinese wisteria ’Amethyst’ (Wisteria sinensis ’Amethyst’)

    General description: Climber plant with woody stems and strong growth, grows up to several meters. It spreads thanks to the wrapping of the sprouts around the nearest supports.

    Inflorescences of the Amethyst variety have the form of hanging dense bunches up to 25 cm, in the darkest color they are violet-purple.

    Blooms in early May as one of the first varieties. It can then repeat the flowering again in August.

    The fruit of wisteria, as in all wisteria of the legume family, is the pod, which is also very decorative; the pod remains on the creeper throughout the winter and reaches a length of up to 15 cm.

    Requirements / Cultivation:  Wisteria should be planted in sunny and sheltered positions. Requires solid supports or pergolas.

    Soil: moderately fertile and moderately moist.

    Is one of the most beautiful varieties of low shrubs with seasonal leaves and big rounded flower heads in the colours from dark violet through various blues and lavender to pink. The soil will affect flower colour - acid soil makes flowers head towards blue and alkaline producing pink.

    It blooms from June to September and reaches up to 1.5 m in height.

    Prefers partially shaded place, sheltered from the wind. In the sun will produce less flowers. Requires a slightly acidic soil rich in humus.

    Moderate frost resistance. Recommended to be covered for the winter.

    Ideal for home gardens or parks, for growing in containers or mixed borders, as cut flowers or dry bouquets.

    It is a slow-growing shrub or small tree that grows to 3-4m height.

    ’Betty’ is a late-blooming magnolia (April to May) thus reducing the risk of damage to flowers from late spring frosts.

    Flowers bloom shortly before the foliage begins to appear. The flowers are large reddish-purple with white inside.

    Plants may sporadically repeat bloom in mid-summer.
