Is a compact evergreen shrub with slow growth , also called gold-edged box.
Reaches about 1m - 2m in high after 10 years.
It is a long-lived plant.
Is very tolerant of most of soils, but prefers slightly alkaline or neutral soils.
Grows well in all positions from full sun to full of shadow.
Doesn’t like the leaves and twigs to be wet when watering.
The plant is resistant to urban pollution.
Suitable for colour composition, perfectly well suited for low hedges or colourful borders.
