Chinese Miscanthus, ’Zebrinus’ (Miscanthus sinensis ’Zebrinus’)
Is a species of flowering plant native to eastern Asia. This large ornamental grass is tough & fast growing to 0.8–2 m forming dense clumps from an underground rhizome. Zebra grass has one of the most interesting foliage colours with dark green and yellow horizontal bands on the wide leaves. Prefers full sun and moderately fertile, moist, well-drained soils. Can be used as accent plant, to create screens or edges.
Miscanthus giganteus ’Giganteus’ (Miscanthus x giganteus ’Giganteus’)
Wide, dark green, very tall-maturing perennial grass. Plants sprout in spring, reaching maximum height (2.5m-3m) and mass by late summer. This plant is becoming widely planted as a source of biomass or biofuel. Grow giant silvergrass in full sun locations in a fertile, moist soil that has good drainage. Suitable for: specimen, border, screen, hedge, background plant, massing, by the water, arrangements.
Sedge ’Evergold’ (Carex oshimensis ’Evergold’)
General description: grass with magnificent foliage, green in winter, with melliferous flowers, reaches up to approx. 30 cm.

Requirements / Cultivation: prefers sunny positions - semi-shaded with fertile, moist, permeable soil.
