    Jagoda kamczacka ’Wojtek’ (Lonicera kamtschatica ’Wojtek’)

    The most delicious fruit of all varieties of honeysuckle berries.

    Variety with non-falling fruit. Frostproof variety, ideal for Polish conditions, without too many requirements! A Kamchatka berry is a long-lived shrub growing up to 1.5 m, fruiting for up to 30 years! The first fruit in the garden ripens in late May / early June in the first year after planting.

    A cultivar selected in Poland - fully frostproof bushes. Juicy, tasty, sweet and sour fruit that has many recognized medicinal properties. In order to improve the yield, at least two different varieties should be planted next to each other that would pollinate each other. Between 2 and 5 kilograms of fruit can be harvested from the bush. It fruits in the first year after planting!

    It does not require acidic soil – can be planted in ordinary garden soil in a sunny / partially shaded spot, every 1-1.5 meter.

    Kamchatka bilberry ’Jolanta’ (Lonicera kamtchatica ’Jolanta’)

    Long-lived, cropping profusely non-stop plant 30-40 years.

    The spherical bush growing up to 200 cm of the height and 200 cm of the width.

    Variety średnio-wczesna, very prolific and little requiring - good duster

    Fruits very tasty, unusually aromatic, sweet and sour, with the delicate note of the slightly bitter taste.

    He is bearing fruit very profusely, because even up to 5 kg from one bush in the amateur cultivation.

    Conducting the mechanical harvest is possible.


    He/she requires the soil lightly sour, sandy-clayey, well grows also on the indifferent and alkaline soil.

    Sunny position or lightly overshadowed.

  • Kamczacka Berry Zojka 1L


    Kamczacka Berry ’Zojka’ (Lonicera kamtschatica ’Zojka’)

    General description: Poland’s early version of Kamchatka berries, one of the three ideal pollinators for the “Wojtek cultivar”, grows moderately strongly, growing up to 1.7 m high, grows 0.7 m per year, long-lived and hardy shrub.

    Fruit: they are sweet, they hold on to the bush quite well, gives about 3.5 kg of fruit from the bush.

    Maturation: in May-June.

    Requirements / Cultivation:  sunny position, fertile soil, sandy-loamy and loamy sandy soil.

    Kamczacka Berry ’Klon 44’ (Kamtschatka-Heckenkirsche ’Klon 44’)

    General description: one of the most fertile varieties, shrub growing up to 1.5 m high, frost-hardy, from its fruits you can prepare many products including wine.

    Fruit:  large (1.4-1.6g), very healthy, fruit ripen at the end of May

    Flowering:  blooms in the first decade of April

    Requirements / Cultivation:  sunny or lightly shaded position; no major soil requirements, fertile, moderately moist with slightly acidic reaction.

    Kamchatka berry ’Indigo Gem’ (Lonicera kamtchatica ’Indigo Gem’)

    General description: Canadian variety, fast growing, shrub reaching a height of 150 cm and a width of 120 cm; cross-pollinated: Aurora and Honeybee varieties are recommended. It has a high resistance to disease and frost.

    Fruit: fruit with a sweet dessert taste

    Maturation / Flowering: ripens in the second half of June, the fruit is suitable for mechanical and manual harvesting, does not fall off.

    Requirements / Cultivation:  humus substrate, moderately moist with a slightly acid reaction, sunny position, variety recommended for commercial  plantations.

    Kamchatka berry ’Honeybee’ (Lonicera kamtchatica ’Honeybee’)

    General description: Canadian variety, fast growing, shrub reaching a height of 150 cm and width of 120 cm, to be planted every meter apart; several varieties are recommended; varieties: Indigo Gem, Aurora, Borealis, have high resistance to disease and frost.

    Fruit: fruits with slightly acidic taste, the fruits are suitable for mechanical and manual harvesting, they do not flake off.

    Maturation / flowering: ripens in the second half of June,

    Requirements / Cultivation:   humus substrate, moderately moist with a slightly acid reaction, in a sunny position; it is recommended to rejuvenate the bush after 5-6 years by cutting out some of the oldest shoots.

    Kamczacka Berry ’Vostorg’ (Lonicera kamtschatica ’Vostorg’)

    General description: Russian variety, slightly branched, shrub resistant to frost and long-lived, shrub up to 1.8 m high. Variety recommended for amateur cultivation.

    Fruit: tasty, sweet and sour fruit; fruit appear 2-3 years after planting.

    Maturation / Flowering: ripening in May and June,

    Requirements / Cultivation:  light soils, permeable, slightly acidic, the stand should be very sunny, the variety is sensitive to drought.

    Kamczacka berry ’Jugana’ (Lonicera kamtchatica ’Jugana’)

    General description: Russian variety with medium compact structure; shrub up to 150 cm high and 190 cm wide, dessert variety, perfectly suitable for freezing. Varieties recommended for pollination: ’Doczv Velikana’\\\\\\\', ’Vostorg’ ’Bakczarskij Velikan’’

    Fruit: pitcher-shaped fruit, very tasty.

    Maturation / Flowering: fruits ripen in the second half of June,

    Requirements / Cultivation:   fresh, moderately moist, slightly acidic soils, highly sunny places, frost-resistant variety.
