Is a herbaceous, non-climbing clematis easy to grow clematis, considered to be one of the finest selections of its type.
Was given the Golden Clematis Award from the International Clematis Society in 2015.
Flowers between July-September by producing medium to dark pink, nodding, bell-shaped flowers with strong stems and foliage.
The growth is strong and vigorous to about 2M.
Prefers sun to partial shade and fertile, constantly moist and well-drained soil.
Pruning should be done in early spring before new growth by cutting back last year’s stems to a strong buds about 5-10cm above soil level.
Fully Frost Hardy - tolerates temperature down to -15C
Can be grown in mixed border, on perennial borders, among shrubs or in containers.
