Grapevine ’Solaris’ (Vitis ’Solaris’)
Solaris is an early ripening variety, commonly grown in northern European countries for winemaking. Suitable for dessert wines, it gives wines fruity and perfumed aromas with hints of banana and hazelnuts.
Grows to about 1.3m height any ordinary garden well drained soil. Produces strong and fruity yellow-green berries that are also used for making jams, jellies, grape juice or eating fresh.
Ripens in mid August.
Good disease and frost resistant variety, especially against fungal diseases.
