Kamczacka Berry ’Leningradskij Velikan’ (Lonicera kamtchatica ’Leningradskij Velikan’)
General description: A Russian variety with very tasty, sweet, aromatic fruits.
It grows strongly, reaching up to 2 m high and 1.40 m wide.
Fruit: the fruits ripen at the turn of May and June. - exceptional large and elongated in shape.
Maturing: It begins to yield as early as 2-3 years after planting.
After several years of cultivation, 2 - 5 kg of fruit can be harvested from one plant.
Completely resistant to frost (up to -40 °C).
This variety is especially recommended for amateur cultivation.
Requirements / Cultivation: stand very sunny, light soils, permeable and slightly acidic.
