Kamchatka Berry ’Green’ (Lonicera kamtchatica ’Green’) Latest variety of honeysuckle berries in Poland. Large, tasty fruit, larger than the standard berries from the forest, frostproof plants, undemanding. A Kamchatka berry is a long-lived shrub growing up to 1.5 m, fruiting for up to 30 years! The first fruit in the garden ripens in late May/early June in the first year after planting. Polish variety. Frostproof shrubs. Juicy, tasty, sweet and sour fruit that has many recognized medicinal properties. In order to improve the yield, at least two different varieties should be planted next to each other that would pollinate each other. Between 2 and 5 kilograms of fruit can be harvested from the bush. It fruits in the first year after planting! It does not require acidic soil – can be planted in ordinary garden soil in a sunny / partially shaded spot, every 1-1.5 meter.
